Facebook, You, Me and Humlog

P.S - If you are going to read this, you will have to ignore my linguistic skills.

Majority of my online friends call me facebook maniac and they are not wrong.  Facebook has changed my life a  lot, I was never the same.... primarily because I didn't had too much of information and never realized what the world is up to. With the help of facebook, I have found me inside me :-).

I am not writing this to describe my affection with facebook but to touch on an unknown problem we are ignoring.  I am trying to address a psychological problem we might see in coming years. The original article was published in WSJ related with this.  What you see on facebook status updates is not the actual life we are going through, that's just may be friction of it. By just reading the status updates don't assume, life is cool for your friends and you are struggling.

Everyone is going through the same phase, some are sharing there happy moments and some not. We all have our own struggles in life and we must cross these hurdles to get the real happy and peaceful life.

On facebook, we are only comfortably sharing our happy moments or may be we are trying to hide the exact picture from world.  I would say its fine...what would I bother someone else of my problem, let people know about my happiness..I will take care of my sorrows.

Next time your friends post updates related with an excellent vacation, don't be disappointed that you cant go...just enjoy he pics and like it.  We all have our own set of priorities and responsibility, next time you will be on vacation and your friends will like it.

Don't be disappointed if you are really struggling to get a good status update, search Google and you will get websites just focused on status updates.  Copy and Paste, I am sure I will like it.

Why India can’t be Egypt and why we don’t need?

So the aspirations are building up and everyone is just trying to imagine common man fighting on streets and a revolution is about to happen in India. Corrupt will be thrown out and punished, wise men will lead us.

Day dreaming is good and gives you feel good factor but trust its not going to ever happen in India and its not required as well. We have democracy and someday we will understand the power of democracy.  On the other hand, we are not the same protesters as Egyptians are, if we are on streets either we fight with each other or destroy public property. Majority of either of us are violent 50% and other 50% don’t want to do anything at all, hence a revolution is not going to work neither we will see.

Comparing with Egypt is good and we must be ready for a revolution with our mindset, we need not create new ways of doing things, we just need to do things right. Egypt had no democracy; they didn’t have any option of throwing out the regime so they took there struggle on streets.

India has the power of election and being one of biggest democratic nation in the world we must exercise this option judiciously.  You may not have best of the candidates in electoral foray but we have to exercise our voting rights, select and make are elected representative accountable, they will change. This change will only come if we participate and take out some time in building the nation.

We simply forget about the accountability and assume its going to happen and that’s where we give free hand to corrupt. We must participate in governance, follow rule of land and ask others to do so, keep in touch with your representative and ask the status and state of governance. The corrupt will fall in line if you raise your voice.

We do not need another freedom movement in India, we have had enough bloodshed. We just need to participate in the existing democratic process.

Politics......why this untouchability ????

I was always intrigued to understand what Indian youth or in whole general public stays away from politics and treats it like an untouchable breed. Probably that's not intentional but more on how the society looks at it, anyone associated with politics is considered untouchable and adjectives like greedy, dirty, corrupt gets assigned.

For how long we can continue to stay with politics, majority of the Indian youth has been doing it from 20 years now. Last cycle of great youth political leaders came in during Jay Prakash Narayan's movement(1970 - 78) and post that no changes in political dynamism of our country.  We all ponder over and make observation on how systematic and good looking things are in west or not so far in east asia. What has these countries have done or may be political leaders done..?? nothing but it was achieved because common people got involved in politics and elected leaders who were fit to govern. We cant be ignorant towards politics because our future is dependent on decisions/policies framed by government/leaders.

I have been associated with BJP for some time and request all of us should get affiliated to political parties based on individual's ideologies. When different ideologies will meet, discussed and verbally fought over... we will have a true democracy. I am sure we will be there someday but we have to act now...act now

Joy of Marathon + MRI Experience + Customer Service

My first marathon run brought a lot of change in me, now more focused on my physical fitness…yea I know the fat is still a problem.  The experience and pain of running marathon lead to cure my prolong ankle injury…its been 13 years since I met with an accident and never realized I still carry it.

Finally getting it treated, personally for self I am meeting a doc after 5 years, a lot has change.  The entire check lead to a MRI test…damn that was scary. That machine is huge and you are literally send inside it and stay for good 30-45 min, I was scared. Hope no one goes through it, wasn’t painful but the gizmos around made me made feel like what the hell I m going through.

So far so good, but now here comes the customer service experience, been in this industry for 8 years now and I question everything. I was disappointed with the level of service and accuracy being offered by a top notch hospital. The customer inside me took it head on, escalated it to duty manager….told me everything and also suggested how you can improve. I was offered the option of giving written feedback but just avoided it, gave them an opportunity to improve.

Experience ended on high note, two physiotherapists were nice. Good to speak and be friend with, they were eager to listen and make me understand. Not sure if the management is aware of it, but just because of those two physiotherapists, I am paying more when compared to a local physiotherapists but customer service matters. I have lived it!!

Wish you all good health throughout your life !

Leader Who?? Not you sir MMS

I am not qualified enough to question a person like our PM MMS but do have an observation on what leadership is all about.  Series of scams and frauds under your leadership and so far you have not made one strong statement.

Nobody is saying, all of those people are guilty, the rule of law has to decide that and definably, no one is fraud or criminal until proven.  What is appalling us, is the silence from you. As a leader you must speak up and clear the doubts, we are not asking to punish everyone but we need a sense of action of that you are acting.  The onus lies on you, you are the leader.

When the team is in crisis, leaders flung into action and become the face of the team and not hide citing reasons unknown and we all know that leader cant resolve the problem immediately , but it does assures that someone is listening and acting.

You can’t be a leader unless you don’t have followers and that’s happening with you sir.   I dare not question your credibility, that’s beyond the word “truth but sorry sir you are not a leader.

And now that you have spoken, we only hear whispers.

Remember a nation billion is watching you, if you cant be leader at least act like one!

Whose God Whose Belief?

End of day we all are yearning to live a happy life with more money more power and more prosperity…god never gives you anything…. you earn it, and then you fight over something so silly.

You fight and rich becomes richer, poor becomes poorer and objective of power hungry people is achieved. Is that your fighting for???

God is mere spectator and just having fun, working as mere spectator and laughing on us. Oh Mankind! I made you to have fun and you are making mockery of your self.  You believe in something and you make mockery of others believe…end of the day a mockery is being made either mine or yours.

Life is too precious to make mockery or question others believe. What you must believe is yourself, nothing else matters.

Your god is within yourself, worship yourself…..respect yourself….god will be happy!!
